How good are York Treadmills?
The price range of York treadmills runs from entry level at under £500 to their top of the line
Diamond series that cost well in excess of £1,000, however overall quality seems to be pretty good. While with many
products you seem to get what you pay for York manages to keep their overall quality at a decent level even with
their lower end models like the T101 which retails for under £400. This model features a lower powered 1.25 HP
motor that is fine for walking and light jogging, but you may find it is not powerful enough for running, still it
is a good entry level machine and well made.
At the top end of York treadmills is the Diamond T302 treadmill that features a 3.0 HP
motor capable of moving the extra large belt at speeds up to 12 mph (20 kph). This is faster than many of the other
brands available and perfect for the serious runner. You also get built in speakers with an mp3 player connection
to keep you entertained while you exercise. Great construction combined with an excellent warranty make York
treadmills one of the best currently available in the UK.
